Tee & Sea - May 10th & 11th

One of the greatest (if not the greatest) events in our area is the Windsor Fire Department sponsored "Tee and Sea". This year is the 14th Annual event, and it just gets better every year.

Sponsors for this years event are Embarq, Action Auto, Cellular Warehouse, Bertie Ambulance Service and Coastal Beverage of Elizabeth City.

As is traditional there are four major events over two days.

Festivities kick off Thursday, May 10th with the Action Auto & Cellular Warehouse's Duffers Tournament, a four man super ball event. Tee time is 1:30 PM for the event.

Thursday night after the Duffer's Tournament golf event, there is the annual Ken Younger Night. There will be free beverages, food, a silent auction, reverse raffle and other exciting activities. Start time is 6:00 PM until 9:30 PM.

Friday, May 11th is the second golf event, the Embarq Open Golf Tounament, a four man super ball event. Tee times are 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

Friday night is the Seafood Buffet. Incredible food is the order of the day, including shrimp, scallops, trout, crab cakes and clam strips. The buffet starts at 5:30 PM.

After the Seafood Buffet the "Band of Oz" will play from 8:00 - 11:59 PM.
