Sea & Tee Duffer's Tournament

The Action Auto & Cellular Warehouse's Duffers Tournament at the Cashie Country Club, sponsored by the Windsor Fire Department, has once again proven to be a great way to spend a day. All of the teams had a wonderful time. It was a magnificent Spring Day.

Many of the players came early for a little final practice on the putting green.




Others caught up with friends and neighbors.



Teams loaded their clubs into the carts while waiting for the tournament to start.



Billy Smithwick announced the start of the tournament.



Jerry Sary explained some late rules that were to apply to the shotgun start, best ball tournament.




All teams received a bag of goodies and food (above) and Robert came by to take me out on the Cashie Country Club Golf Course for team pictures (below).

It was a great day and everyone agreed it was the best tournament ever. Winners were of course the most excited about the tournament. There were three winners declared in each of two categories, Gross Score and Net Score (after adjustment for handicap). The winners are listed below:
