Rotary Honors Outstanding Rotarian Bob Brown

Yesterday's Roatary Club meeting was the occassion of a significant honor for local member Bob Brown, as he was presented a plaque recognizing him as "Rotarian of the Year" by club President Sharon Davis.

Jody Rhea (shown below on left) acepted a check from Collins Cooper (shown below on right) of the Windsor Rotary on behalf of the Bertie County Water Search And Recovery for the outstanding work they do in our county.





Speaker for the day was yours truly, Dean Stephens, talking about campagining for office, and the need for dedicated citizens to get involved in public life to assure we have a healthy democracy.
