Home Schooling Post Generates Lots Of Comments

If you click here you can learn a lot about how blogs are supposed to work. I posted an article about home schooling and the result was more articulate "comments" on the subject than any posting I have done (since I gave up my technical blogs 5 years ago).

We are a polite society and no one wants to go public with anything controversial. That is the nature of the culture of NE North Carolina. However those who want to see our culture changed are not as polite and are willing to be controversial. As a result we are losing our culture, our schools and our kids.

You can be controversial and still be civil. Ronald Reagan was always controversial and yet he was always civil. We need more people in NE North Carolina to get involved and start participating in our blogs so we can protect the good parts of our area even as we fix the problems.
