Colerain Christmas Parade

Colerain had it's Annual Christmas Parade, and it was fantastic. Small town parades are the best, and Colerain had everything the big city parades have.

Reviewing Stand

The crowd gathered early to enjoy the sights, and as the parade was about to start the judges went to the reviewing stand.

First in line for the parade was this year's Grand Marshall, Sheriff Greg Atkins.

There Were Costumes Of Every Kind, Especially FROSTY

The American Flag is always a part of the parade.

Some groups always perform for the judges, and when that happens, the parade backs up.

There are always some unique expensive vehicles. In the summer they are usually convertibles, but for a Christmas Parade they are often closed.

The most compelling part of any parade is the magnificent horses and their riders. Colerain had a large contingent this year.

Horses And Riders

There were several antique vehicles, as usual.

No parade is complete with out a bunch of local celebrities.

Celebrity Floats

The hero of the Christmas Parade is always SANTA CLAUS!

Other vehicles that you will usually find include motorcycles.

And no parade is complete without a fire engine.
