Windsor Bertie County Chamber
Annual Dinner

This year's Windsor Bertie County Chamber of Commerce dinner was held at the new HTM Convention Center, at the site of the old Wrangler Building. It is the first event organized by our new Chamber Executive Director, Collins Cooper.

The dignitaries on the dais include (from left above) Commissioner Hoyt Cooper, Reverend Joe Cooper, Linda Cooper, Executive Director Collins Cooper, Chamber President Steve Wishall, Representative Annie Mobley and Windsor Mayor Bob Spivey.

President Steve Wishall (below) presided as Master of Ceremonies.

Mayor Bob Spivey led the invocation.

Executive Director Collins Cooper welcomed the audience and talked about some of the things that are happening in our community.

Reverend Joe Cooper (below) introduced the recipient of the Outstanding Citizen Award, presented to Bill Pittman.

Bill's comments were typical of this respected gentleman.

Next on the Agenda was introduction of the night's speaker. Windsor Commissioner Hoyt Cooper (below) introduced Representative Annie Mobley.

Representative Annie Mobley (below) lives currently in Hertford County, but she was born here in Bertie County. She talked about our region and her hopes for its growth and success.

There was a good crowd at the new Convention Center and the room proved to be a great place to hold this type of dinner event.

One of the highlights of the evening was the excellent food that was provided by our local organization, Hammerhead's, (from left) Minnie Hoggard, Stacey Harrell, Lisa Harrell, Luis Hoggard and Deb Everett.

It was a great night for Windsor and Bertie County.
