State Officials Challenge Bertie School Board

Why can’t you all get along?

That reoccurring theme within Bertie County was addressed again here yesterday (Monday). The only difference this time around was it was an outside source asking the question.

The process recommended here, to have a public meeting and try and get everyone on the same page, is a good one. However it assumes that we can end our own fighting. I hope we can. Can we?

I look forward to hearing some of the other suggestions that came out of this meeting with the State personnel.
