PETA Verdict Is Outrageous

Superior Court Judge Cy Grant sentenced Adria Hinkle and Andrew Cook to 10 days in the Hertford County Jail, suspended upon 12 months of supervised probation for repeatedly euthanizing animals and dumping them. Judge Grant called it "littering".

After a campaign to paint the two members of the America hating socialist organization known as PETA as animal lovers, a group of jurors acquitted them of responsiblity for the horrendous acts committed. Some of the animals killed by these two were picked up here in Bertie County.

Read the article about the justice meted out. I call it farce. It is typical of the lack of justice you get in American Courts. Just ask the Duke Three or Scooter Libby about American justice. This is not justice. This is politics in a corrupt court system . . . . which is what our system is.

I agree that it is outrageous. The judge in the case dropped several issues so as not to confuse the jury and to make it easier on them. What a joke! PETA goes around attacking people for eating animals, but it's okay for them to throw them into dumpsters! This is the new America. Just ask the 2 border agents doing time for shooting a drug smuggler carrying 700 lbs of drugs across the border! Johnny Sutton, the prosecutor in the case, now admits to Congress that he lied and there is no evidence to support the case. Is this really the United States? We give a known Mexican drug dealer immunity in order to prosecute two American border agents and then wonder why we can't hire enough border agents! Keep putting those liberal socialists in office and soon we will have the Communist America that the Democratic Party so longs to have.
